West coast native growers take note! ‘Rouge’ was believed to have died here at the nursery but like the majestic phoenix it rose again! Unfortunately we have no photos but the fact sheet here is pretty thorough. Once we get to know it better we’ll have personal impressions. Take a shot, you can’t go wrong with a native! If it can survive Vermont it’s sure to do well most everywhere else.
